Pay Range: $27.49 - $36.44Final hourly offer is commensurate with experience.

Access Center Clinician

We are the community behavioral health organization responsible for the delivery of mental health substance abuse treatment coordination and developmental disabilities services for Kent County. We need individuals who are passionate about making a difference by helping others.
We are seeking an Access Center Clinician BSW or Masters Degree to provide crisis intervention screenings and referral to behavioral health services for adults and children. The clinician will work with individuals in crisis and with substance use disorders completing screening on a walk-in basis. Activities may take place in a variety of settings and via face-to-face contact or telehealth (video or telephone).
This position is 40 hours a week from 2pm-10pm Monday to Friday with occasional weekends occasional holidays and scheduled on-call rotation. This is an in-office position at 790 Fuller Ave NE Grand Rapids MI 49503.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Masters Degree:
- Masters degree in Social Work or Psychology Counseling or Counseling Psychology
- Certification or Licensure in the State of Michigan as a licensed master social worker professional counselor marriage and family therapist or psychologist OR be eligible for a limited license as stated above and obtain that licensure within 3 months of hire.
- Thorough working knowledge of the practices and principles of psychological emotional and sociological assessment and diagnosis
- Thorough working knowledge of professional ethics and standards of practice
- Possession of a valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation for job related use
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and rationally
- Ability to handle multiple projects at one time
- Computer skills including word processing spreadsheets email database management and data entry skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in stressful situations
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and skills and capabilities of bridging language/cultural barriers to Network180 services within diverse communities
- Available for on-call services (on a rotating basis)
- Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued
- Licensed Master Social Worker preferred.
- Credentialed through the Michigan Certificate Board for Addiction Professionals preferred
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for BSW:
- Bachelors degree in Social Work. Licensure in the State of Michigan as a licensed or limited licensed bachelors social worker OR be eligible for a limited license as stated above and obtain that licensure within three months of hire.
