Position Summary:
- Assists in assuring optimal patient care by delivering basic patient care and performing scrub duties under direct supervision of RN or LPN.
- Performs clinical skills according to policy and procedure.
- Assumes direct patient care responsibilities as assigned.
- Assists in the maintenance of a clean safe and orderly environment.
- Keeps shelves stocked with supplies from Materials Management.
- Demonstrates professional and personal development.
- Delivers direct patient care appropriate to the age of patient served including the neonate/infant child adolescent adult and geriatric.
Reports to: Executive Director of Womens and Childrens Services
Minimum EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent RequiredGraduate from an accredited LPN program or Surgical Technologist program preferred.Experience as a Surgical Technologist can be used in lieu of degree requirement.
