Position Purpose:
The Registered Nurse (RN) works in a collaborative environment at Holy Cross Health within the PCU/Neuro to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care. This position is a great opportunity to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person physically emotionally and spiritually.
This 32-bed unit provides care to patients requiring cardiac telemetry monitoring with a special emphasis on neuroscience diagnoses including epilepsy monitoring. 6 East Acute/Neuro is staffed by registered nurses certified nursing assistants health unit coordinators and monitor technicians. Staff receive support from clinical educators and advanced practice nurses.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without work visa or sponsorship.
What You Will Do:
Employment Type: Full Time
Shift: Nights - 7:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. with every other weekend commitment
Using Quality Caring Model demonstrates acceptable performance and applies nursing process to plan and manage care of routine patients including patient and family education and continuum of care planning.
Effectively communicates fundamental patient/family information to health care team.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited nursing program ADN required; BSN preferred.
Current Registered Nurse licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State.
One (1) year of nursing experience preferred
BLS Healthcare Provider certification from American Heart Association; additional life support training as applicable to unit requirement

Pay Range- $37.88 - $54.19
Pay is based on experience skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
