The Role
The ABC is looking for a Content Navigator to work in the NT state newsroom to make sure that the best content is easily accessible. This role selects audio visual content from the News production system adds metadata and moves it into the ABC Archives system so that it can be reused and repurposed.
The Job
- Work in the Newsroom and engage with News staff
- Collaborate with content makers to manage and share content.
- Help select and keep audio-visual content according to policies.
- Identify valuable content for reuse and production.
- Add metadata so that footage can be found
- Move content between data and archive systems
About You
Youll have:
- Local knowledge of Darwin and the NT
- A good understanding of different media formats especially video
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills work well in teams and be confident working independently.
- Be passionate about creating authentic content that reflects diverse communities.
