Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Operations Coordinator to oversee and coordinate daily food service operations. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness. This role requires strong leadership team collaboration and effective communication skills to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: Food Venues
- Team Leadership: Lead motivate a team of food service workers ensure high levels of food processes production and preparation explain why we have them in place and why we do it.
- Employee engagement work with all types of skill sets and personalities treat employees with value so they know they have a purpose at Center Grove Orchard
- Operational Oversight: Insuring food preparation products are ready for operation on a daily basis. Knowledge of our inventory system and how it operates.
- Training & Development: Provide ongoing training and support to food service staff ensuring they are knowledgeable about menu items the health and safety regulations and customer service expectations.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory tracking of supplies to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.
- Scheduling & Staffing: Help manage staff schedules to ensure appropriate number of staffing levels for peak times may need to step in during busy times. Get to know the staff and their skill levels.
- Administrative Duties: Assist in reporting tracking of staffing inventory and other key performance indicators.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Food Service/Beverage Supervisor to discuss team performance operational issues and improvements.

- Team Leadership: Lead motivate a team of bakery and donut service workers ensure high levels of bakery processes production and preparation explain why we have them in place and why we do it.
- Employee engagement work with all types of skill sets and personalities treat employees with value so they know they have a purpose at Center Grove Orchard
- Operational Oversight: Insuring bakery and donut preparation products are ready for operation on a daily basis. Overseeing coolers and freezers so they are clean and well stocked. Will work with our Country Store to provide bakery products as needed for daily sales during the season.
- Training & Development: Provide ongoing training and support to bakery service staff ensuring they are knowledgeable about bakery items the health and safety regulations and customer service expectations.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory tracking of supplies to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing waste monitor freshness.
- Scheduling & Staffing: Help manage staff schedules to ensure appropriate number of staffing levels for peak times may need to step in during busy times. Get to know the staff and their skill levels.
- Off Season Responsibilities: Help manage quota numbers for bakery items that can be made ahead of the season with limited bakery crew review inventory review and pull together reports for the year to review for the following year.
- Administrative Duties: Assist in reporting tracking of staffing inventory and other key performance indicators.

Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in food service operations with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional culinary or food safety certifications preferred.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Time management and organizational skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand walk and lift up to 40 pounds. Ability to work in hot noisy and fast-paced environments.
Availability: Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a senior leadership role within food service.
Experience with inventory management and ordering systems
Food safety certifications (SERV Safe).
Work Environment:
Fast-paced food service environment.
