Job Title: Program Coordinator Postsecondary Programs
Wage/Hour Status: Exempt
Reports to: Department Administrator College and Career Readiness
Division/Department: Superintendent
Pay Group: A15
Primary Purpose:Maintain a broad knowledge and understanding of postsecondary education programs to assist district administration with student advisement recruitment professional development and operations.
Assist in the operation review and monitoring of postsecondary programs to include student pathways and transfers for program participation.
Qualifications
Education/Certification/Experience:
Bachelors degree or higher from a college or university accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) is required. A degree in Business Administration Education or Criminal Justice is preferred.
A total of four years of full-time wage-earning experience in higher-education education in corrections education criminal justice or a related field.
This position requires personal technology that will enable the completion of job duties and responsibilities when working remotely.
This position requires travel.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Proficiency in computers and peripheral equipment.
Knowledge of the school district organization operations policies and procedures.
Ability to manage assignments and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision as well as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills including excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey ideas and instructions clearly and concisely.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite to include Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook.
