At Vetwest Rockingham we are dedicated to providing compassionate high-quality care for pets and animals of all kinds. Our team is passionate about making a difference in the lives of both animals and their owners. We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Veterinarian to join our growing family.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat a wide range of animal health issues
Perform surgeries if required and manage post-operative care
Provide preventive care such as vaccinations flea/tick control and wellness exams
Consult with pet owners on nutrition behavior and other aspects of pet health
Collaborate with a team of skilled veterinary professionals to ensure the best care possible
Maintain accurate medical records and follow up on patient progress
Qualifications:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
Valid state veterinary license
Experience in a clinical setting preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply
Excellent communication skills and a passion for client education
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
