Job Duties
The successful candidate will defend the Commonwealth of Virginia its agencies and departments and its officials and employees in state and federal courts litigating cases which can range from personal injury torts to alleged violations of constitutional rights. The representation will include drafting pleadings and briefs conducting all aspects of discovery including investigation e-discovery and motions practice and providing legal advice to clients through the course of litigation court appearances and trial and appellate work.

A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of civil litigation experience in federal or state court is preferred; similar litigation experience will be considered.
