The Fiscal Technician plays a crucial role in optimizing the financial resources of District 10 by overseeing and distributing accounting and budgetary information to both District and County administrative staff. This support is essential for the effective functioning of their organizations enabling them to deliver high-quality roads and bridges for the traveling public throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In this position you will engage in advanced clerical and accounting tasks within the District Fiscal Unit contributing to various activities related to Budget Procurement and Finance. Additionally you will collaborate with the District Fiscal Office and the Assistant District Fiscal Officer to prepare and execute intricate financial documents as well as manage financial adjustments associated with the Business Plan Budget and Re-Budget processes.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday - Friday with 60-minute lunch.
- Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Indiana.
- Salary:In some cases the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Fiscal Assistant (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Three years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records including one year of responsible work which involves the application of accounting or fiscal principles and practices; and graduation from high school; or
- One year of experience in maintaining and reviewing fiscal records and an Associate degree in accounting or business administration; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
