What are we looking to add to our team
Were looking for a highly motivated Staff Accountant to join our expanding finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited about scaling accounting operations at a high-growth startup. Youll play a key part in ensuring timely financial reporting supporting audit readiness and managing day-to-day accounting operationswith a primary focus on accounts payable month-end close and audit compliance.
What you will be doing:
- Own the full-cycle accounts payable process including vendor onboarding invoice approvals payment execution and expense reimbursements.
- Support the month-end close by preparing journal entries reconciliations and variance analyses
- Help maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes to support scalability
- Assist with annual financial audits including preparation of audit schedules and documentation
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to ensure accurate coding and timely processing of expenses
- Participate in system improvements automation projects and ad hoc reporting as needed
You will be a great match if you have:
- 1-2 years of accounting experience preferably in a high-growth environment or public accounting
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field
- Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting
- Experience with accounting systems (NetSuite and Airbase experience a plus)
- Strong attention to detail organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Located in the Greater Seattle Area
Preferred (but not required):
- Public accounting experience (Big 4 or regional firm preferred)
- SaaS or technology industry exposure
- Familiarity with intercompany accounting or international entities

Base Salary Hiring Range:$75000 to $85000 annually
