  • 24404 per annum (pro rata for part time)
  • 37 hours per week Term time only

Your role and responsibilities

The Healthy Living Service works with children and young people aged 0-19 offering evidence-based support to children young people and their families where the child / young person is overweight to help remove the barriers to achieving a healthy weight. As part of the Healthy Living Service you will:

  • work alongside colleagues to provide a health screening service across Suffolk
  • be responsible for undertaking screening within schools to include growth measurements as part of the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP) of children in Reception class (aged 4 to 5) and Year 6 (aged 10 to 11)
  • undertake hearing and vision screening within schools for children in Reception class (aged 4 to 5)
