- Suffolk County Council - Peripatetic (West Suffolk locality based in Bury St Edmunds)
- 24404 per annum (pro rata for part time)
- 37 hours per week Term time only

Your role and responsibilities
The Healthy Living Service works with children and young people aged 0-19 offering evidence-based support to children young people and their families where the child / young person is overweight to help remove the barriers to achieving a healthy weight. As part of the Healthy Living Service you will:
- work alongside colleagues to provide a health screening service across Suffolk
- be responsible for undertaking screening within schools to include growth measurements as part of the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP) of children in Reception class (aged 4 to 5) and Year 6 (aged 10 to 11)
- undertake hearing and vision screening within schools for children in Reception class (aged 4 to 5)

You will need:
- an appropriate Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience or evidence of skills
- great communication skills (written and verbal)
- the ability to provide advice and information with clarity and impartiality to meet the needs of the recipient.
