Job Description

Job Title:StR Lower in Adult Psychiatry
Grade:StR Lower
Location: Birmingham West Midlands
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Rate:Competitive to be discussed upon application

We are seeking an enthusiastic StR Lower in Adult Psychiatry to work full-time for our client based in Birmingham West Midlands. This vacancy is available on a locum basis with an immediate start for a short-term contract.

Key Responsibilities

To complete assessment and escalate issues to consultant psychiatrist in respect of physical and mental health care. Assist with prescribing of medications within legal framework. Participate in multi-disciplinary care planning and discharge planning. Reasonable knowledge and some experience of working in psychiatry. Any specialist skills or knowledge desired: Knowledge about Mental state examinations mental health medications.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
  • Experience working in Adult Psychiatry
