Salary: 43750 - 48000 allowance of up to 5000 per annum (paid in monthly instalments non-pensionable)

SLC now have an exciting opportunity for a Developer to join our Banking Team within the wider Technology Group here at SLC. In this role you will work within a collaborative agile team to design build and maintain software solutions that support our core services. You will contribute to the development and improvement of applications primarily using PL/SQL and support the delivery of high-quality and scalable systems. SLC offer a blended working model which will typically be 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.
What you bring:
- Excellent proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL programming SQL tuning and performance optimisation
- Very good experience in database design relational modelling and schema management
- Familiarity with quality methods including unit testing code analysis and peer-review processes
- Experience with version control systems (Git PVCS) build and deploy tools (Jenkins GitLab CI Azure DevOps) and continuous integration environments
- Experience delivering to firm milestones using Agile principles contributing to estimation exercises and working with collaboration tools (Jira Confluence)
- Very good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in team environments
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
