Job Description
Overview
Do you have lived experience of drug and alcohol recovery
Are you ready to give something back Do you wanting to develop your skills and take on a bit of challenge
We are looking people with previous lived experience to become part of our Peer Mentor team
Responsibilities
- Demonstrating visible recovery and acting a positive role model as you support people in recovery and the wider service
- Supporting our reception playing a vital role in helping people coming into treatment to feel welcome and safe
- Assisting with the delivery of recovery group sessions
- Helping out with day-to-day tasks within the service
- Offering a listening ear and ad hoc support to people using our services
- Helping us to promoting the service
