Job Description
One-to-one Nurse - Extended School Year Menotomy Preschool
This position will be filled as applications come in.
School nursing is a specialized practice of professional nursing that advances the well-being academic success and life-long achievement and health of students. To that end school nurses facilitate positive student responses to normal development; promote health and safety including a healthy environment; intervene with actual and potential health problems; provide case management services; and actively collaborate with others to build student and family capacity for adaptation self-management self advocacy and learning.

The Arlington Public Schools is lookingfor aone-to-one nurse forSpecial Education Extended School Year classroom setting within the district 8:30 to 12:30Monday through Thursday - for6 weeks July 7th to August 14th
Candidates must have a Bachelors in Science in Nursing and be licensed as an R.N. by the
Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing
Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as a School Nurse preferred.
Experience as a School Nurse is preferred.
Must have CPR Certification
