The ideal candidate will:
- Lead the end-to-end project management lifecycle for semiconductor fab construction projects from initiation to completion.
- In-depth knowledge of semiconductor facilities cleanroom design and facility construction standards and regulations.
- Work with local Jurisdictions to procure permitting and sign off inspections.
- Develop scope and schedule for assigned projects.
- Conduct regular project status meetings provide progress updates to senior management and communicate project milestones and deliverables.
- Pre-qualify consultants contractors and sub-contractors to ensure qualifications are in order (certificate of insurance security clearances contractor orientation documents licenses etc.)
- Manage project budgets track expenses and ensure cost-effective resource utilization.
- Make connections and develop relationships with owners and stakeholders to ensure client requirements and expectations are being met.
- Assemble and manage a project team and provide expertise through all phases from project startup to turnover.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in Engineering Construction Management or Architecture preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years as a successful Project Manager; or a minimum of 10 years equivalent experience in the construction industry required.
- Experience with creating safety protocols and processes to ensure projects are performed in a safe manner required.
- Strong understanding of design documents related to the industry
- Multiple years in a lead project management role within the semiconductor advanced manufacturing or research and development industry.
- Extensive knowledge of semiconductor regulations industry codes specifications and standards.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications as well as construction software usage contract documents and job documentation required.
- Strong understanding of Cost/Estimating required.
