Position Objective:This position is accountable for assuming the responsibility for supporting the health and wellness of all students participating in summer programming in the Freetown Lakeville Regional School District. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Assess and evaluate student health and wellness needsAssume the responsibility for assessment and triage of sick and injured children and staffAssist in the identification and education of students with special health problems and associated needsRespond to potential health problems and/or concernsObserve school facilities and recommend modification necessary to maintain optimum health and safety of students and school personnelAdminister medications per school department and Massachusetts Department of Public Health policyClassroom resource personAssume other duties assigned by the Dir. of Pre-K & Extended Day Programs/Kids Cafe Dir. of Curriculum & assessment & the SuperintendentThis program runs from June 30 2025 to August 8 2025. Monday - Friday 7:15-5:45 - and the nurse will need on campus or on program associated assignment during those hoursREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Must have a current valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in MassachusettsMust be DESE certified or certifiable as Nurse All LevelsExperience working with Students Experience working in the Freetown Lakeville Schools preferredPOSITIONS AVAILABLE:Summer Campus Nurse: Stationed at George R.
