Full-time (Monday Friday 8 am to 4 pm) The Assistant Director of Maintenanceis responsible for overseeing the physical assets general maintenance repairs apartment make-readies preventive maintenance and construction or rehabilitation projects for an apartment community. Responsible for maintaining adequate inventory of supplies for repairs and monthly maintenance budget monitoring. They resolve issues that arise in order to keep both building maintenance activities running smoothly or take care of any repairs needed on-site if theres an emergency. Responsibilities: - Inspect sites regularly to identify problems and necessary maintenance.
- Employ supervise and train workers.
- Coordinate daily maintenance activities over the facility as we have a large location.
- Oversee repairs and ensure that work is completed on time.
- Maintain all inventory and equipment and ensure proper storage.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations and practices on site.
- Conduct preventative maintenance work.
- Conduct follow-ups on all maintenance and repair work.
- Conduct safety inspections as scheduled.
- Establish strategies to meet workload demands on time.
Qualifications: - Must at least have two years of successful experience in managing maintenance employees that perform multiple tasks is required.
- Computer literate with capability in email MS Office and related communication tools.
- Great time management skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Available to work any shift required as well as weekends and holidays.
