Ohio Wesleyan University() is a selective private undergraduate liberal arts residential institution founded in 1842 and is located just 20 miles north of Columbus.
Ohio Wesleyan Universitys Intercollegiate Athletics invites applications for the position of Director of Mens & Womens Tennis. This is a 10-month Part-Time position.
The Director will supervise an assistant or assistant part-time coaches for the program based on needs and expectations of the program. It is also expected that the Director of Tennis will embrace the department mission of supporting the academic mission of the university developing student-athletes as contributors to the greater community creating opportunities for competitive success leading student-athletes to understand what it is like to be part of something greater than oneself.
Qualifications:
A Masters Degree is preferred; Bachelors Degree required demonstrated coaching/recruiting experience and relevant competitive experience recommended. All candidates should also possess an understanding of the role athletics plays in a rigorous academic setting and an ability to identify and attract outstanding students to the University.Candidates must have a commitment to and responsibility for adhering to all rules and regulations of Ohio Wesleyan University the North Coast Athletic Conference and the NCAA. Effective written and oral communication skills are required.
