Job Description
One of Park Avenue Group long term client partners a leading compounding pharmacy is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Pharmacy Purchasing Specialist to join their team at the Fort Lauderdale location. This onsite role is responsible for managing vendor relationships controlling inventory and driving cost-saving initiatives to support pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and negotiate competitive pricing and favorable terms with pharmaceutical and medical suppliers
- Maintain optimal inventory levels monitor expiration dates and manage stock to minimize waste and ensure product availability
- Audit vendor performance regularly and identify opportunities to reduce expenses and improve efficiency
- Evaluate and select high-quality vendors aligned with the pharmacys operational and clinical needs
- Work onsite MondayFriday with the flexibility to stay beyond regular hours as business needs require
Qualifications:
- Experience in pharmacy or medical purchasing preferred
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Proven track record in cost reduction and operational efficiency
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Flexibility with schedule and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
