Commercial Finance Analyst
Your Manager: Senior Commercial Finance Manager
Team: Commercial Finance
Location: London Chiswick Business Park.

Chivas Brothers the largest brand company in the Group responsible for the production and management of our award-winning Scotch whisky portfolio
Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail the global and EMEA home of the groups duty free air travel and cruises business.
The Absolut Group the brand owner of our global white spirits portfolio whose Gin brand unit and Business Acceleration team sit in London.

We are an organisation of 2000 employees in the UK headquartered in London in a brand-new office designed with sustainability conviviality and collaboration in mind. We also have offices in Scotland and various distilleries and production sites across the UK from Plymouth to London to Speyside.

Your new team

This position sits in our Pernod Ricard UK (PRUK) business. Our diverse population of 300 passionate employees have been creating conviviality since 2001 bringing our premium brands and unforgettable experiences to the UK. As the worlds 2nd largest spirits market the UK is a key location for our company.

This role is in the Pernod Ricard UK commercial finance team a team of 4 with close collaboration across different functional teams.

Your unique contribution

You will have several main areas of responsibility:

1. Business Partnering of Commercial team including support for annual customer negotiations develop and update tools building P&Ls and providing insightful analysis and recommendations
2. Lead the monthly financial close process for the On Trade business ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
3. Maintain and validate submissions in our forecasting tools to support reliable business planning.
4. Deliver insightful financial analysis to identify trends risks and opportunities that drive strategic decisions.
5. Collaborate with commercial and operational teams to align financial forecasts with business objectives.
6. Key contributor to Finance deliverables including Rolling Forecast Risk & Opps Volume Price/Mix analysis and Monthly Business Review meetings
7. Key stakeholder of S&OP process reviewing and challenging forecasted volumes and communicating monthly movements in both volume and value basis
8. Ad-hoc financial support across wider functional teams such as Marketing strategy and transformation

Degree calibre with previous experience in Commercial Finance / FP&A /business partnering roles
Well developed analytical logical problem-solving skills
A positive reliable self-motivated individual that thrives in a rapidly changing environment & is keen to learn & develop
High level of self-management and ability to function amidst tight deadlines
Strong skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint
