Within the La Trobe Rural Health School we are creating a purpose built Clinical Dental School on the Bendigo Health campus to support the planned growth in Dental Science and Oral Health Science in coming years.
We are recruiting for a suite of positions over the next 12 months including a lecturer in Dentistry and Oral Health. This position can be traditional teaching and research academic position or teaching focused position depending on the right fit for the candidate.
About the position
You will mentor and guide students through their academic journey providing valuable insights and practical knowledge. Key collaborations with colleagues promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in dental education will see you succeed in this role.
The Lecturer in Dentistry and Oral Health will contribute to the high-performing teaching teams through the development and delivery of theoretical pre-clinical and clinical education. They will design and implement engaging online and in-person teaching activities in alignment with the current approach to learning and teaching in the discipline. They will have opportunities to conduct original research or scholarship of learning and teaching and contribute to ongoing projects through our existing research centres.
