Wheel Repair Technician
Job Description:
AWRS Wheel Repair Specialists of Birmingham located in Pelham AL is seeking a Wheel Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with their hands is familiar with using tools such as DA sanders grinders impacts and is eager to learn a new trade and start a new opportunity.
As a Wheel Repair Technician you will be working in a team environment and will be responsible for sanding prepping painting polishing welding straightening and powder coating wheels. No prior experience is required as we will provide the necessary training to the right candidate.
In addition to a salary pay we offer a 401k match and paid vacation/sick days. The work schedule is Monday through Friday with weekends off. The starting pay for this position is $15-20/hr.
Job Responsibilities:
Sanding prepping painting polishing welding straightening and powder coating wheels
Use of tools such as DA sanders grinders impacts and more
Working in a team environment to ensure timely completion of projects
Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
Maintaining equipment and tools
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Strong work ethic and desire to learn new skills
Good communication and teamwork skills
