Job Description
Overview
Amyx is seeking to hire a Sr Software Engineer to support our Army client at the Pentagon.
Responsibilities
- The software engineer will design develop enhance debug and implement software.
- They will be responsible for troubleshooting production problems related to software applications and providing research tests builds and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements.
- They will provide designs and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
- They will address problems of systems integration compatibility and multiple platforms and consult with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.
- The Software Engineer will perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.
- They will provide support by assisting in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages application integration and testing tools.
- They will resolve problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
- They will acts as team leader on projects and instruct assign direct and checks the work of other software developers on development team.
- They will participate in development of software user manuals and meet with stakeholders to elicit requirements review design changes and present prototype demonstrations.
- Must have the ability to communicate accurate information
Qualifications
Required:
- The Sr Software Engineer must have an undergraduate degree in computer science engineering or mathematics from an accredited college or university.
- Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in computer programming using most prevalent languages (examples: .NET HTML JAVA).

Physical Demands
