What Youll Do:
As a Banquet Houseperson youll be the behind-the-scenes hero of our events team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Setting up and breaking down banquet rooms for meetings weddings and social events
Moving and arranging tables chairs linens and AV equipment according to event diagrams
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of banquet storage areas
Assisting banquet servers and event leaders as needed during event.
Ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all guests and team members.
What Were Looking For:
A positive can-do attitude with a focus on teamwork
Ability to lift and move heavy items (tables chairs etc.) throughout your shift
Flexibility to work early mornings late nights weekends and holidays
Previous experience in hospitality or events is a plusbut were happy to train the right candidate!
Where Youve Been:
Were looking for someone with at least a high school diploma any additional certificate in a relevant field is a plus but not required. You have at least two years of experience in hospitality management and at least 1 year working in F & B. Most importantly youre someone who can remain calm under pressure all while communicating and coordinating associates in a positive and professional manner.
When Youre Here:
There will be occasions when you may be carrying/lifting up to 50 pounds walking bending/twisting climbing stairs and working on slippery floors. You also must be able to accommodate varying schedules including nights weekends and holidays.
