Full Job Description
EXPERIENCED MOTOR VEHICLE TITLE REPRESENTATIVE IN OUR BAYTOWN TEXAS LOCATION.
As Houston Auto Appraisers Motor Vehicle Title Representative you would have substantial in-person or telephone contact with members of the public seeking services or information regarding licenses registrations identification testing insurance penalties hearings and related agency programs. You will be expected to effectively use a computer with multiple applications running simultaneously. You may be required to operate telecommunication consoles cameras a cash drawer photocopiers fax machines scanners calculators etc. You may be responsible for processing customer payments such as: cash checks credit card charges and inventories of documents license plates registration stickers and other security items. In an issuing office setting the majority of your time will be spent assisting the public by greeting the public as they arrive in the office as well as in processing complex and varied transactions by entering data on a personal computer using a keyboard and mouse and/or providing detailed information to large numbers of people. If assigned to a call center you would wear a headset and would be expected to effectively answer telephone calls which are automatically and continuously distributed by a complex telephonic system. Telephone calls may be monitored for quality assurance. As with many jobs interacting with the general public you may encounter uncooperative or sometimes hostile individuals. You would be expected to act in a calm courteous and reasonable manner even under very difficult highly stressful and at times confrontational circumstances.

AUTOMOTIVE TITLE CLERK REQUIREMENTS:
- MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS OF AUTOMOTIVE TITLE/REGISTRATION WORK EXPERIENCE
- ABILITY TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY
- KNOWLEDGE OF TEXAS DMV FORMS 130-U BILL OF SALES AND BANK LIENS
- PROCESS TITLE PAPERWORK
- PROCESS INITIAL REGISTERING OF A VEHICLE AS WELL AS REPLACING LOST REGISTRATIONS AND RENEWALS OF EXPIRING REGISTRATIONS.
- PREPARE CHECKS FOR TITLE AND REGISTRATION FEES
- FOLLOW UP ON RECEIPT AND ACCURACY OF TITLES
- POST ALL TRANSACTIONS
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Covered Benefits Health Insurance Dental Vision
- Not open on weekends.
- Not open on holidays
Ability to commute/relocate:

The professionals at Houston Auto Appraisers have over 50 years of experience in the automobile appraisal bidding fleet management services crawled all over the body shop repair floor and have expert knowledge of frame and structural damage repairs mechanical and electrical repairs OEM vs. aftermarket parts paint and auto valuations.
All independent appraisers are certified in accordance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisers Practice (USPAP) and have successfully passed the accrediting Bureau of Certified Auto Appraisers - Independent Appraiser Certification Program (IACP).
Our associates include: National Automobile Dealer Association Members ICAR Gold Class Body Repair Shops ASE Certified Mechanics AWS / CWI Certified Welding Inspectors Licensed Insurance Adjusters Estimators and Independent Certified Auto Appraisers as recognized by the Bureau of Certified Auto Appraisers.
