Job Title: Production Manager
Location: Santa Rosa CA
Hours: 8AM-4:30PM Monday to Friday
Start Date: Immediate
Pay Range: $25-$27/hour

Job Summary:The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the cannabis production facility including trimming packaging labeling inventory quality control and team supervision. This role ensures production goals are met while maintaining strict compliance with state and local cannabis regulations and internal SOPs. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with excellent organizational and communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage daily production activities including trimming packaging pre-roll creation and labeling to meet productivity goals.
Oversee train and support production staff to ensure adherence to SOPs safety and hygiene standards.
Monitor staff productivity hold team members accountable and create a positive collaborative work culture.
Track and manage inventory of raw materials packaging supplies and finished goods.
Ensure accurate product tracking and reporting using state compliance systems such as METRC.
Implement and enforce quality control procedures to maintain consistent product standards.
Identify and resolve inefficiencies in workflow to improve output and reduce waste.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area in compliance with sanitation and workplace safety protocols.
Communicate and coordinate with other departments including cultivation compliance and distribution.
Generate and deliver regular production reports and metrics to upper management.
Support company goals related to compliance operational excellence and employee development.
Requirements:
Minimum 24 years of experience in a cannabis production or manufacturing environment
1 years of supervisory or management experience required.
Knowledge of state cannabis compliance systems (e.g. METRC) is highly desirable.
Proven ability to lead motivate and develop high-performing teams.
Strong organizational and time management skills; detail-oriented and results-driven.
Comfortable with data tracking inventory software and production reporting tools.
Ability to work on your feet for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
