BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:

The Talent Acquisition Consultant will be assigned to the Global Talent Acquisition and Deployment Team (HRMTM) which supports the organization to equip its workforce with the right capabilities by sourcing top talent and building a talent pipeline for future needs.

Talent Acquisition Consultant will report to the Talent Acquisition Officer and will be responsible for the successful execution of International Professional recruitments while focusing on sourcing and recruiting diverse group of candidates especially women and candidates from developing countries and candidates with disabilities.

ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for International Professional positions across various functions and locations. Act as a Talent Acquisition adviser for assigned hiring managers and Staffing Coordinators to guide them on best recruitment practices in line with the organization and functional talent requirements. Partner with managers throughout the recruitment process to ensure the highest standards of efficiency and integrity in line with internal recruitment procedures as well as the highest talent standards are applied when selecting International Professionals for WFP. Review the composition of the pool of qualified candidates at key stages in the recruitment process and introduce corrective measures to maintain a balanced pipeline both in terms of gender and geographic representation in line with the organizations diversity targets. Proactively source attract and engage talents for positions to provide a strong pipeline of qualified and diverse talent for the hiring managers consideration. Maintain an inclusive approach throughout the selection process to secure all candidates are provided equal opportunity. Coach and mentor junior colleagues on the team.

DELIVERABLES AT THE END OF THE CONTRACT:

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Education:

University Degree in Business Administration Human Resources Management Social Sciences or other relevant area.

Experience:

Five or more years of postgraduate professional experience in Talent Acquisition of which at least 3 years must be at an international or regional level. Experience and expertise in sourcing and recruiting hard-to-find profiles is a must. Experience in transforming processes and leading change.
