Job Summary
Under the direction of a school site administrator and District Nurse the Health Technician provides support in meeting the health needs of students documenting and maintaining student information required by federal state and local agencies and providing appropriate care and/or referral for ill or injured students as may be required.
Requirements / Qualifications
One year of clerical experience involving frequent contact with the public is required.
CPR/First Aid Certification (CPR/First Aid certification: attach proof of valid First Aid and Adult CPR certification from an accredited organization such as the Red Cross or American Heart Association. Online First Aid certificates are acceptable however CPR must include hands on classroom training.

Coast Academy / 7:45 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. / 40 hours per week
Oak Crest Middle School / 8:15 a.m. - 2:45 p.m. / 30 hours per week
Torrey Pines High School / 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. / 40 hours per week
Comments and Other Information
Multiple choice test (weight: 20%) performance test (weight: 30%) and a Qualifications Appraisal Interview (weight: 50%)
