A Brief Overview

The Quality & Training Coordinator delivers all training and onboarding programs for new and current staff develops documentation and training materials and defines and evaluates competencies to support and improve staff performance. The Quality & Training Coordinator acts as a support resource for staff at all levels and functions as a subject matter expert in all aspects of the department positions providing high-quality customer service in accordance with established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.

What you will do

  • Responsible for working with various leadership teams and audiences to develop quality control processes establish training programs scope policies and procedures.
  • This position will manage the daily quality control processes and will provide direct educational feedback to team members based on the quality control follow up.
  • Establishes performance evaluation metrics and monitors performance to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of workflows.
  • Collaborates onboarding for new staff and oversight of training sessions.
  • Coordinates requests for training information reports and data in a timely manner from leadership and partners.
  • Maintains and updates training policies and procedure manuals as required.
  • Assists in relevant training services to physicians hospital departments and staff as requested.
  • Engages in continuous study of training including best practices to maintain professional competence and necessary skills for assigned responsibilities.

Essential Qualifications

The individual must be able to work the hours specified. To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily including having visual acuity adequate to perform position duties and the ability to communicate effectively with others hear understand and distinguish speech and other sounds. Required Education License/Certification or Work Experience:

  • 1-3 years Experience as a trainer process coach or continuous quality improvement leader.
  • 1-3 years Work experience in a clinic hospital or health insurance environment.

Preferred Education License/Certification or Work Experience:

  • Bachelors in related area or relevant combination of experience and education.
