Description
Your Impact:
As a full time Assistant Accountant you will play a key role in:
- Assist the Chief Finance Officer and General Manager Finance to maintain proper books of account.
- Assist the Retail Managers with Point of Sale Support.
- Assist other staff in the Finance department to fulfil their duties and responsibilities by providing support and backup.
- Support the Good Sammy purpose: To create meaningful employment opportunities and pathways for people with disabilities.
What youll do:
- Manage Accounts Receivable including credit applications raising of invoices and credit control.
- Assist with POS support for stores.
- Assist with NDIS submissions invoicing and reconciliations.
- Reconcile and recognise Container for Change income.
- Assist with cash deliveries and float management.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations.
- Reconcile petty cash.
- Assist with month-end journals and reconciliations.
- Reconcile monthly grant accounting.
Skills And Experiences
What youll bring:
- Knowledge skills and experience in bookkeeping. (Essential)
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Able to successfully pursue uncooperative customers for payments.
