Youre a motivated and ambitious team player at the beginning of your career in the event industry. You may have some experience or none at all. What you do have is confidence a never-say-die attitude and a passion for events and live experiences. Youre also flexible organized customer-focused and have an eye for detail. Youre no shrinking violet: you are not shy about asserting yourself and communicating new ideas.
What youll be doing
- Keep our and clients databases updated at all times
- Support in the production of an event during preparation and when on-site
- Assist in venue and supplier selection registration of participants and may help to make travel arrangements
- Support (and learn from) project managers when setting communicating maintaining timelines and priorities on all projects
- Help manage the finances and monitor cost of our events
Must haves
(We really mean it. Candidates who do not meet the following criteria will not be considered.)
- Fluent English & French OR English & Flemish
- A valid work permit as we do not sponsor visas
- Attention to detail
- Very good oral and written communication skills
- Wanting to make our clients and teams happy
- Motivated and ready to go beyond the job description to make things happen
- On rare occasions it may happen that you may have to work on weekends but of course you can take time off to compensate for the additional hours
Nice to haves
- Any additional language
- Experience working in an event agency
- Pharmaceutical industry experience
- Good knowledge of Microsoft programs: Powerpoint Word Excel Sharepoint MS Teams and other technological registration tools
