Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee high-end custom home projects in the Duxbury area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential construction excellent project management skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Manage all phases of custom home construction projects from inception to completion ensuring projects are delivered on time within scope and budget.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients maintaining open communication and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with architects engineers subcontractors and suppliers to ensure seamless project .
- Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules coordinating timelines with all stakeholders to ensure timely progress.
- Budget Management: Prepare and monitor project budgets authorize expenditures and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Quality Assurance: Enforce strict quality control standards conducting regular site inspections to ensure workmanship meets company and industry standards.
- Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local building codes zoning regulations and safety standards.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation including contracts change orders and progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential construction project management with a focus on custom homes.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in construction management software (e.g. Procore Buildertrend) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of residential construction processes building codes and regulations in Massachusetts.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and decision-making abilities with a track record of managing successful construction teams.
- Certifications: OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
