Overview
The role of a TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) Sanskrit Teacher is pivotal in fostering an appreciation for the ancient language of Sanskrit among students. As a TGT Sanskrit Teacher you will be responsible for teaching Sanskrit at the middle school level focusing on developing students language skills comprehension and cultural understanding. This position is essential in promoting not just the language but the historical significance and philosophical teachings embedded within Sanskrit literature.
In your role you will engage students through interactive lessons assessments and projects that encourage a love for learning. You will collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall curriculum and ensure that students have access to the richness of Indian culture and language. By instilling a passion for Sanskrit you contribute significantly to students cognitive development and cultural awareness preparing them for further studies and a greater understanding of their roots.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum standards.
- Teach Sanskrit language skills including reading writing and speaking.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Sanskrit or related field.
- Bachelor of Education . degree.
- Proven experience teaching Sanskrit at the secondary level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of various teaching methodologies and educational technologies.
- Fluency in spoken and written Sanskrit.
- Understanding of the cultural and historical context of Sanskrit.
- Ability to create inclusive lesson plans for diverse learners.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Experience in curriculum development and assessment strategies.
- Passion for teaching and fostering a love for learning in students.
- Patience and a positive attitude when dealing with students.
