Job Description
This is a remote position.
Schedule:
- Mondays to Fridays 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Eastern Time (with 1 hour unpaid break)
Role Overview:
We re seeking a versatile UX/UI Designer to join our team. This is a pivotal role that blends user-centered design thinking with hands-on product development. You ll take ownership of the end-to-end design experience across both our hardware-integrated software interfaces and customer-facing knowledge resources.
This is not a siloed design job. You ll collaborate directly with engineers support specialists product managers and customers to understand pain points and craft elegant intuitive solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the redesign of user interfaces across our core product lines including embedded machine software and cloud-based admin portals.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Develop wireframes mockups and prototypes to communicate design concepts.
- Work closely with engineering to ensure design implementation meets spec and intent.
- Advocate for consistent UI/UX patterns and modern design systems across all products.
- Design and build a user-friendly searchable knowledge base that empowers customers to troubleshoot and learn independently.
- Create layouts visuals and interaction flows for articles walkthroughs and interactive help content.
- Collaborate with the Support and Marketing teams to ensure content is accurate accessible and visually polished.
- Participate in product planning and roadmap discussions representing the voice of the user.
- Analyze support ticket trends and feedback to identify UX opportunities.
- Evolve and maintain design standards and style guides for all Vape-Jet digital properties.
