About the Role
We are seeking experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AZURE to join our team. The engineer will be responsible for creating and modifying infrastructure using Terraform supporting both development pipelines and production environments. This role requires a solid understanding of CI/CD practices infrastructure as code (IaC) and observability with a proactive mindset toward maintaining uptime and managing deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design implement and maintain scalable infrastructure using AZURE.
- Modify and enhance existing infrastructure in AWS including services such as RDS Aurora and IBM WebSphere
- Support both development pipelines and production environments
- Participate in daily deployment activities including evening deployments (7 PM10 PM ET)
- Work closely with internal teams and respond to incident alerts during contracted hours
- Contribute to monitoring and observability setup using Datadog and Slack alerts
- Support and troubleshoot issues using runbooks and escalate when necessary
- Ensure SLA/SLI/SLO targets are met including 99.5% uptime 1 hour detection 4 hours incident resolution

- Operating Systems: Linux
- Database: PostgreSQL Aurora RDS
- Other Tools: Custom database scripts IBM WebSphere
Preferred Qualifications
- 11 years in DevOps roles with a focus on Terraform and AWS
- Experience in highly modular IaC environments and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with SOC 1 compliance practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across distributed teams
- Experience working with incident management and runbook-driven operations
