Responsibilities
- Develop a Solution Design Document (SDD) that translates the business requirements outlined in the Process Definition Document (PDD) into a complete technical design for automation.
- Design & Development - Develop robust scalable automations using UiPath (2023.10) for financial accounting and programmatic business processes.
- Build automation workflows that incorporate error handling logging and operational resilience developed in accordance with our teams custom standards for auditability maintainability and reliability.
- Translate business requirements into high-quality supportable solutions in collaboration with Business Analysts and stakeholders.
- AI-Ready Automation Engineering
- Apply foundational knowledge of AI/ML concepts (e.g. NLP LLMs document understanding) to support long-term automation strategy and design decisions.
- Design automations with future AI-enhancement in mind including structured data handling modular design and system extensibility.
- Testing Deployment & Quality
- Conduct testing using UiPath Test Suite or equivalent tools.
- Maintain proper version control and follow deployment best practices.
- Conduct peer code reviews to validate alignment with established development standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Engage closely with analysts financial SMEs and ERP stakeholders to align functional needs with automation architecture.
- Communicate blockers surface risks and contribute to sprint goals with minimal oversight.
Qualifications :
- 8 years in development or systems analysis roles including 3 years building UiPath automations in production environments.
- Strong command of UiPath development best practices including component reuse error handling and logging.
- Demonstrated experience incorporating AI/ML techniques such as NLP LLMs or classification models into automation efforts in previous roles.
- Knowledge of Oracle EBS Federal Financials (R12) especially GL AP AR PO PA FA and IBY.
- Proficiency with APIs JSON/XML and secure integration practices.
- Strong communication and documentation skills in Agile delivery environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- UiPath Advanced Developer Certification (or willingness to complete within 60 days of hire).
- Familiarity with UiPath AI Center Document Understanding or similar AI-capable RPA tools.
- Experience in federal financial environments or regulated enterprise contexts.
- Exposure to additional RPA platforms (e.g. Automation Anywhere Power Automate).
