Job Description

The Senior Director of Consumer Centricity will champion the companys evolution toward a truly consumer-first mindset. This strategic leader will ensure that consumer insights are embedded into decision-making across product development marketing customer experience and operations. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer & GM of Direct Commerce this role oversees a team of marketing professionals driving both strategy and execution to infuse consumer-centric principles into the companys culture and core business practices.

What You Will Do: 

  • Develop and implement a company-wide strategy that integrates consumer insights into all business functions
  • Lead efforts to ensure that the voice of the consumer is at the center of decision-making across teams and leadership
  • Build and oversee a high-performing consumer insights team to analyze consumer behavior trends and preferences
  • Partner with data and analytics teams to leverage AI and marketing technology for predictive insights and strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with marketing product and sales teams to refine brand positioning and enhance consumer interactions
  • Establish key performance indicators such as Net Promoter Score (NPS) customer lifetime value and brand sentiment to measure success and drive improvements
  • Identify emerging consumer trends and market opportunities to guide product development and business strategies
  • Streamline processes to accelerate consumer-driven innovation and enhance responsiveness to shifting market demands
  • Advocate for a consumer-first mindset across the organization influencing senior leadership and cross-functional teams to prioritize consumer-centric strategies
  • Ensure compliance with evolving privacy regulations and data governance standards to maintain ethical and effective use of consumer insights

 


    Qualifications :

    • Bachelors degree required MBA preferred 
    • 15 years of progressive experience in consumer insights brand strategy customer experience and/or a related field
    • Experience leading market research data analytics and consumer behaviors functions
    • Experience establishing consumer- centric processes insights and structures resulting in improved consumer retention across brand offerings 
    • Experience navigating and succeeding in a fast-paced matrixed highly collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders
    • Strong communication presentation and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders
    • Experience demonstrating situational adaptability managing complexities and leading with resiliency


    Additional Information :

    Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $150000 USD - $263000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range or be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to education training experience professional achievement business need and location. In addition to base salary employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a role-based sales incentive plan.
