JOB DETAILS
Base pay starts at $19.00 per hour
$1000 New Employee Sign-on Bonus
Shift: 1st Shift Monday-Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Cycle Counter at Cornerstone Building Brands you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring the integrity of our materials management processes. This position requires a strong understanding of data systems and financial analysis as well as the ability to work collaboratively across various departments in a fast paced physically demanding and dynamic environment.
- Performing Cycle Counts: Counting and recording inventory levels for specific items or areas within the window manufacturing facility
- Inventory Reconciliation: Comparing counted quantities with system records and identifying discrepancies
- Root Cause Analysis: Investigating reasons for inventory variances and making recommendations for improvement
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of cycle counts and inventory adjustments in the companys inventory management system
- Collaboration: Working with other departments like shipping production and quality control to ensure inventory accuracy
- Equipment Usage: May involve operating material handling equipment like forklifts to move and count inventory
Qualifications :
- Attention to detail and accuracy are essential for ensuring the integrity of inventory records
- Strong organizational skills are needed to manage the cycle counting process and maintain records
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices is helpful
- Experience with inventory management software (AS400) and other inventory data systems is a plus
- Physical stamina and ability to work in a manufacturing environment required
