Description

Clark College is currently accepting applications for a Classified Program Manager B position to work 32 hours a week. This position supports the Community Continuing Education and Customized Training (CCE) department. The work schedule for this in person position is at the Columbia Tech Center Clark location Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5pm. This position will report to the Director of Community Continuing Education and Customized Training.

The Program Manager B will perform a variety of routine clerical duties such as assist departmental staff and faculty processing documents and records responding to routine inquiries about the programs offered maintaining established record keeping filing and data base systems and producing forms letters record entries and other materials as well as assist with the Customized Training programs.

Position Responsibilities

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with overall department project management.
  • Prepare grant or contract proposals.
  • Budgetary tasks including invoices transfers and POs fund management.
  • Prepare and maintain administrative business and academic records and reports.
  • Develop and implement procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES:

Candidates will be evaluated based on application materials including the supplemental questions and personal interview(s) and will be required to demonstrate competencies in the following areas:

  • Bachelors Degree AND two (2) years of related administrative experience. Additional administrative experience may be substituted for educational requirements on a year for year basis.
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite as well as the ability to quickly learn new software systems as required.
  • Excellent written oral and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

SALARY/BENEFITS:

Salary Range:$4517-$6077 /month Step A-M (commensurate with qualifications and experience) Range: 51 Code: 107S

Successful candidates typically start at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases.
