The Market HR Partner for the Belgium market is an integral part of the HR team for the BLX cluster. In this role you will act as the main point of contact for our employees. You will be responsible for partnering with the wider global and regional HR team and Business leaders in developing and executing a plan for our people initiatives that support the local business objectives and align with our overall HR strategy. Your responsibilities will include a variety of duties including talent development employee relations and working closely with associates and managers on engagement and retention talent and succession planning compensation review and other fundamental HR processes. :
Responsibilities:
Within the client group(s) you support you will
Support managers with various steps in the employee life cycle including interviews onboarding/offboarding talent management performance management and talent development.
Partner with managers and occasionally the legal team on employee relations issues.
Work with local unions and work council on structure and policy changes etc.
Partner closely with our Centres of Excellence (COEs) to drive priorities related to compensation training and development diversity and inclusion and recruitment.
Support the annual performance incentive planning and compensation review process.
Ensure legal compliance is met defining and proposing policies and processes that align with local laws and NielsenIQ values and guidelines.
Act as a partner and trusted coach understanding business strategy and how it connects to our talent strategy and priorities.
Support engagement and retention initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree required
Minimum of 3-5 years of HRBP experience in the Belgium market
Experience working with diverse client groups and teams preferably in a cross-border matrix environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage competing priorities
Can-do attitude and collaborative mind set
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and either French or Dutch
