About the Position
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Client Services to lead and grow our Salesforce Practice. This role delivers exceptional value to our customers enables sustainable business growth and fosters a high-performing engaged team. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of operational excellence customer-centricity and inspirational leadership. Reporting directly to the head of Client Service Practices this individual will shape the services strategy ensuring alignment with company goals and client success outcomes.
Responsibilities
Drive Business Success:
- Define and execute a comprehensive business plan for Salesforce services ensuring continuous innovation and staying ahead of industry best practices.
- Develop and execute the Salesforce services strategy to support revenue achieve margin and enable growth targets.
- Create a portfolio of Salesforce based consulting offerings that will drive customer business value.
- Implement standard consulting methodologies using expert practitioners for knowledge and scale to deliver impact for clients.
- Identify and implement standardized delivery models tools documentation and processes that support scalability globalization growth and profitability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Product and Marketing to support go-to-market strategies and product innovation.
- Orchestrate thought leadership methodology and enablement priorities with the rest of the Client Services leadership team.
Drive Customer Success:
- Ensure the successful delivery of services that maximize customer value and satisfaction.
- Capture and utilize operational metrics to drive CSAT NPS retention and expansion.
- Lead strategic engagements and steer customer transformation initiatives as needed.
- Leverage feedback and insights to improve service offerings and client engagement models.
- Ensure successful on-time and on-budget delivery of client projects that meet or exceed expectations.
- Advise senior client leaders on major digital transformation initiatives cultivating strong executive relationships.
- Lead all aspects of service delivery for high-strategic value consulting engagements focused on client value realization user adoption and successful execution of multi-solution use cases.
Drive Employee Success:
- Lead mentor and grow a high-performing team of consulting leaders and individual contributors.
- Create a culture of accountability excellence continuous learning and collaboration.
- Develop leadership pipelines and talent development plans to support professional growth and retention.
- Drive internal training and certification programs to ensure upskilling and readiness.
- Define organizational structure and roles to optimize resource utilization and project staffing.
- Professionally develop senior consulting leaders and individual contributors responsible for delivering best-in-class consulting services.
Requirements
- 15 years of experience in professional services consulting or client delivery leadership.
- 10 years in leadership roles
- Experience managing a portfolio of $50MM book of business.
- In-depth practitioner experience and knowledge of Salesforce platforms.
- Proven track record of managing large teams driving customer success and achieving financial targets.
- Entrepreneurial approach to finding new growth levers for the business with agility in applying those levers to optimize business performance.
- Strong executive presence with excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelors degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
