About the unit
Corewell Health Gerber Hospital Multispecialty Clinic - Fremont located at 230 West Oak Street has a full time opening for an Ambulatory RN Inboxologist. The Inboxologist will focus primarily on the following: Routine medication refills
second level triage patient advice requests and patient phone calls.
About Outpatient Clinics
Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.
Scope of work
The Inboxology provider team will manage items that routinely flow into the providers in-basket such as: MyChart patient advice requests second level triage refills not completed by Health Finch and phone calls. This work represents nearly 50% of the inbasket volume a provider receives.
The protocols and processes that both the nursing team and Inboxology team utilize will be made visible to the provider teams prior to your anticipated go live. Some items that will be routed to Inboxology as a part of this program include:
1. Routine medication refills
2. second level triage
3. patient advice requests
4. patient phone calls
Qualifications
- Associates Degree Nursing or Equivalent Required
- Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
- 1 year of experience as an RN Preferred
