Unit Secretary Emergency Department

Work location: Texas Health Plano 6200 West Parker Road Plano TX 75093.
Work hours:
Full-time Day shift 36 hours per week
Three 12-hour variable Day shifts (7:00am 7:00pm) with rotating weekends and holidays.

- Fast-Paced high-volume department averaging 150 patients/day
Heres What You Need
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required.
- No experience required
- 1 year of Unit Secretary experience in an emergency services setting preferred.
- Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast-paced work environment positive interpersonal skills and good verbal and written communication skills.
- CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Required
What You Will Do
ORGANIZATIONAL/TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Performs all tasks to meet the needs of physicians staff patient and other customers.
- Demonstrates acceptable organizational skills.
- Communicates effectively.
- Interactions include consideration for patient population specific needs.
- Takes action to reduce/eliminate patient risks.
