Minimum Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors degree preferred.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Position serves both internal co-workers and external customers clients patients contractors and vendors.
Access to and/or works with sensitive and/or confidential information.
Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g. HIPAA). Skilled in the application of policies and procedures. Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices.
Minimum Work Experience
Five years physician practice management or similar healthcare setting with specific leadership experience.

Position Summary
Sovah Health is looking for the ideal candidate who will be responsible for assisting in operational oversight of physician practices. The Market Manager will work collaboratively with Market Directors in both Danville and Martinsville markets to implement strategy and initiatives for practice operations and growth. Market Manager will serve in an operational role in the development management and execution of projects for Physician Services in the Danville and Martinsville markets.
Support hospital strategy and physician operations
Responsible for registration audit process and achieving registration process targeted goals
Track practice Key Performance Indicators (no-shows cancellations new patients) and drive improved performance to attain target goals
Monitor practices for efficiencies to reduce practice investment
Monitor practice start-up to aid in building existing practice revenue through charge capture fee schedules and new programs
Evaluate monthly supply expenses to ensure fiscal responsibility in purchasing of medical supplies
Attend monthly operations meetings with office manager staff
Provide additional support to office management staff as needed
Market Manager will be expected to become an eCW and Athena superuser
Assist in physician services budget process
