Job Summary
As a Personal Lines Account Manager you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of personal insurance accounts. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients ensuring their insurance needs are met and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients understanding their insurance requirements and providing appropriate solutions.
- Process policy changes renewals and endorsements accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes and coverage options for clients.
- Educate clients on insurance products coverage limits and policy features.
- Handle client inquiries and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
- Stay updated on industry trends insurance products and regulatory changes.
- Prepare and present insurance proposals to clients.
Qualifications/Requirements
- 2 years of relevant insurance industry experience preferred.
- Previous experience working with a variety of carriers.
- Previous independent agency experience is required.
- In-depth knowledge of personal insurance products including home auto and umbrella policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships.
- Proficient in using insurance agency management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Valid TX P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
