Summary:
The Operations Manager has various duties and responsibilities to guarantee HAHC is operating effectively and compliant with federal and state rules and regulations. Responsible for Risk Training and activities. The Operations Manager will act as the Organizations Risk Manager and comply with all Risk Management guidelines including but not limited to conducting risk assessments insuring incident management and security point of contact.
Duties/Responsibilities of the Operations Manager:
Responsible for project management functions
Leads policy review to oversee our clinical and administrative policies
Supervises the front desk staff and works with Patient Services Supervisor to ensure the efficient front office workflow
Communicates with provider recruitment agencies
Responsible for risk management concerns and actions
Manages employee training programs
Oversees ITD functions such as: Smart Choice ECW Medtrainer Zultys etc.
Responsible for FTCA and HRSA oversight
Leads Risk Management Meetings
Other duties as assigned by the CEO
Duties/Responsibilities as the Organizations Risk Manager:
Create new claims management policy and risk management policy
Incident management
Chair the Risk Management Committee
Review and Analyze grievances
Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
Develop and implement annual training plans for risk management and safety
Conduct routine needs assessments
Conduct clinical walk through using a checklist system
FMEA/PDSA/EAP/CMS analysis and management
Risk Mitigation
Claims/Incident Investigations
Document workflows
Strategic planning for risk management and safety
Report to the Board of Directors and CEO on risk and risk management
Education:
Master of Business Administration Healthcare Administration or a related field is desired
