We are currently seeking a Full-timeInfection ControlNurseto join our team at LansingCorrectional Facilitylocated inLansing Kansas.
The Infection Control Nurse is responsible for performing a variety of duties involved in the prevention and control of infectious disease to include the collection definition interpretation and reporting of data in a systematic manner. Assist with care plan development and provision of care for patients with acute and chronic infectious disease and serves as a consultant for nurses physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding care tracking and reporting of patients identified with infectious disease.
Qualifications
- Associates degree required
- 1 to 3 years experience providing nursing care in a public health environment long term care or acute care setting with focus on infection prevention and control
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
