Are you passionate about efficiently managing projects and celebrating successes as a team These are projects of complexity involving FERC regulatory processes and federal agency permitting. Project budgets can total more than $100 MM/year and are typically over 2 years in duration.

What You Will Do:

  • Development and dissemination of the project budget to all functional groups within the team. Implementing the project within this budget and ensuring the organizational change processes are implemented.

  • Coordinate a resource plan for each project and identify project risks mitigation measures exposures and opportunities that may impact the success of the subject projects.

  • Champion the diligent adherence to the Six Phase Project Life Cycle control process on each project.

  • Facilitates communication channels and the issuance of reports that reflect the status and health of the assigned projects to the appropriate Management groups.

  • Serve as the focal point for project and service activities performed by the Project execution and non-technical support groups for both internal and external customers.

Who You Are:

  • Education

    • University degree or related engineering construction operational or project management training and / or experience

  • Experience

    • 10 years or more of progressively responsible related working experience in the pipeline industry with 5 or more years related to project management.

  • Knowledge Skills Abilities

    • Strong working knowledge of project management methods and techniques PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.

    • Strong leadership and management including organizational and planning skills.

    • Lead meetings and set expectations for project team and stakeholders.

    • Successfully negotiate win-win solutions.

    • Predict and find issues and potential risks before they arise and implement plans to manage.

    • Taking immediate and independent action to resolve issues or problems when they arise.

    • Conveying a strong sense of urgency and driving issues to closure.

Physical Requirements:

Include but are not limited to: Grasping kneeling light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds) reaching above shoulder repetitive motion sitting standing visual requirement (able to see screens detect color coding read fine print) hearing requirement.

Mental Requirements:

Include but are not limited to: Ability to: understand remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions prioritize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology coordinate and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines complete routine forms compose letters outlines memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.

Working conditions:

  • Predominantly an office environment. Significant travel required during key times during project (Permitting Construction). Will require frequent travel to the project location during construction.

For US Only:

Salary:Ranges from $112500 $160000 based upon experience.
