POSITION PURPOSE
The Regional Marketing Manager leads the marketing strategy and execution for a dynamic portfolio. This role is based in Seattle. Regular travel to other portfolio properties is required. The RMM will develop and execute integrated marketing strategies to drive topline revenue build community engagement and enhance brand awareness across multiple hotels and F&B outlets. This position will serve as a strategic bridge between property leadership corporate marketing and external partners ensuring alignment and excellence in brand positioning digital strategy and guest experience.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Strategy & Brand Management
- Lead annual and seasonal marketing plans tailored to each hotels positioning and audience aligned with revenue targets and brand vision.
- Support and develop F&B and lifestyle programming events and brand partnerships to drive community engagement and business growth.
- Collaborate with Sales Revenue and Operations teams to ensure cohesive communication across all guest touchpoints.
- Serve as brand ambassador for portfolio properties ensuring consistent voice visual identity and guest promise.
Digital Web & Email Marketing
- Develop execute and optimize digital marketing campaigns including paid media SEO email marketing and retargeting.
- Manage email strategy and campaign calendars for each property including design execution and performance reporting.
- Oversee website content updates quarterly audits and digital content performance in partnership with the corporate digital team.
Social Media & Content Creation
- Own social strategy content development and execution across all major platforms (Instagram Facebook TikTok etc.).
- Lead community engagement influencer partnerships and co-branded campaigns with relevant local businesses and tourism organizations.
- Support on-site content capture and storytelling initiatives that reflect the brands distinct voice and experience.
Performance Budget & Reporting
- Track and analyze marketing ROI across channels.
- Manage marketing budgets media spend and reporting for each hotel and F&B outlet.
- Provide strategic insights and performance reports to stakeholders at the property and corporate level.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Build strong relationships with hotel GMs DOSMs F&B leaders and ownership groups.
- Manage agency and vendor relationships (PR creative digital SEO etc.).
- Serve as a mentor and marketing point of contact for property-based marketing support or associates.
Communication and Other
- Present strong communication presentation project management and analytical skills.
- Navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
- Experience with WordPress Google Analytics Meta Ads Manager Canva/Creative Suite and email marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp Emma).
- Must be able to travel frequently throughout the region and maintain a valid drivers license.
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS
In addition to performance of the essential functions this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements of the hotel:
- Assist with any property or owner inquiry.

- Report maintenance problems safety hazards accidents or injuries.

- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.

- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; and identify recommend develop and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency productivity quality safety and/or cost-savings.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by direct and indirect Supervisors.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Environmental conditions are inside a job is considered inside if staff spends approximately 90 percent or more of the time inside. Temperature is moderate and controlled by office environmental systems.
- Must be able to sit at a desk for up to nine (9) hours per day. Walking and standing are required the rest of the working day. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task.
- Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
- Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs. as needed.
- Requires grasping writing standing sitting walking repetitive motions bending climbing listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
- Hearing smelling tasting and visual ability to observe and distinguish product quality and detect signs of emergency situations.
- Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with staff supervisors subordinates occasionally clients and ownerships.
- Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near and color vision and depth perception.
- Must have finger dexterity to be able to operate office equipment such as computers printers 10-key adding machine multi-line touch tone phone filing cabinets FAX machines photocopiers dolly and other office equipment as needed.
- The Regional Marketing Manager must possess strong presentation skills delivering clear and confident presentations to effectively communicate strategies and ideas to various stakeholders.

- In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook Instagram Youtube Twitter Tiktok LinkedIn etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios
- Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly

EDUCATION
High school or equivalent education required. Bachelors degree or four years experience in Hospitality Marketing or equivalent field preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of two years experience as a marketing manager coordinator or similar. Hotel marketing experience strongly preferred.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS
Ability to provide and maintain a valid drivers license as the position may require the operation of motorized and electric vehicles.
GROOMING
All Staff Members must maintain a neat clean and well-groomed appearance per company standards. Refer to the property specific required grooming and uniform standards policy.
ATTENDANCE
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards which may be established by Azul Hospitality from time to time is essential to the successful performance of this position. Staff with irregular attendance / tardiness will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment. Upon employment all staff is required to fully comply with Azul Hospitality rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the hotels facilities.
Staff members who violate hotel rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry staff members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
